How would you use an Ask the Expert section? One possible scenario is this:

This section of the MIFO will allow students to submit queries which will be forwarded to the appropriate experts.  These queries may also be added to Frequently Asked Questions and/or may be used to enhance future versions of the book.  Besides formal responses to the students' questions, other people (professors or students) will be able to add their own comments to specific sets of questions and responses.
